Nevis Beaches.

Hi Fellow Sailors, I am generating an Itinerary for Nevis and after several searches, I could not find any info on some of the beaches, We are chartering a Lagoon 52 with 4.2 Ft. draft. The beaches we are considering are: Lovers Beach, Nisbet Beach, Oualie Beach, Pinney Beach, Nelsons spring and Tamarin Bay. we are going for half a day and my inclination is Lovers. I checked the charts on Navionics and could not find any restrictions and is a sandy bottom. Any info you guys can give me? Thanks

Hi, I'm not sure what your question was? But if I had a half day in nevis, I probably wouldnt spend it on the beach. I'd go for a hike a check out the ruins of the fort, maybe the hot springs, maybe hike up the mountain, etc. Nevis just isnt as "beachy" as some other islands. Lots of conch off of pinneys beach in the mooring fields. Grab one and make some fritters.

I agree that Nevis isn't a great beach island. But I'm sure you will get some more informed info from others. As I remember, the beaches I was at were not fine white sand but more dark coarse sand. Take an island tour though, pretty cool. Where does your charter start from?
