New addition to the fleet

Picked this up unexpectedly off of Craigslist. It’s a Squadron Yachts Buttercup? Can’t find much on the inter webs about it, just a picture of an add from a sailing magazine from 1980 advertising the company. Anyone know anything more about them?

Seems pretty solid, thick fiberglass with teak seats. After market sailing rig but we’ll mostly be motoring, using it as a new dink.

Nice looking dinghy. There are times when it is fun to sail around an anchorage, and it's a super, non-threatening, way to make new friends....plus sometimes entertainment for kids and grandkids. ....And, much less irritating than the folks who let their kids motor loudly around anchorages, regardless of local regulations about how close you're allowed to go fast around anchored boats.
