OnlineOutboards.com Never Ever Again…

The buying experience was fine, but… they ship with FedEX who absolutely cannot do one thing right to save their lives.

My $3k package has been randomly tracking all over the US for days. Got a call today it was ready to schedule pickup. Agreed to pick up at facility…. Drove 30 min over. Showed ID and pulled around. “Oh… that package isn’t here yet. It’s still in Missouri”

How does that even happen?!?!

Re: OnlineOutboards.com Never Ever Again…

I get or send out via FedEx packages weekly at work.

No problem for the most part.

I had my outboard delivered to my work address so I would be there when they arrived to drop it off.

I would never go to the facility to pick up something that heavy when they can do the drop off.

I believe I got it from Defender Marine.

I'm having FedEx pick up and deliver a 100 lb. flight simulator projector for repair tomorrow which will be going from Norfolk to Utah.

It’s not that heavy. 20hp.

Still big enough you’d think it would be hard to lose…

How much you wanna bet it shows up down my 1 lane dead end road in a semi too? It seems like it’s going to be impossible to get it picked up at the terminal or delivered to my work. I’m pretty sure no matter what I tell FedEX it’s just coming to my house…

I just wanted to throw it in my pickup

Re: OnlineOutboards.com Never Ever Again…

We have had boat stuff delivered over past 15 years Via Fedex, DHL, UPS, USPS and some no name brands. Every now and then there is a screw up but not related to any one delivery company. In the case of an outboard delivery we bought a Tohatsu 20HP from Cumberland Water Sports on line and it was delivered by Fedex to the marina. We placed the order on 1 June and we installed on our dinghy 4th June.
