AC has become my primary source for information about anchorages and ports. I try to give back by taking a few minutes to review and update every place I stop. To others who do the same, thank you!

But I have a bone to pick with some of you.

Specifically, if you stay at a place, and take the time to rate it, please also take the time to update the other tabs.

There are five tabs for marinas: General, Navigation, Dockage, Fuel and Services. There are two for anchorages: Details and Reviews.

Maybe some of you don't know that you can update just about any information on these tabs.

If there's a grocery store or a good place to land a dighy near an anchorage, tell us!

If you bought fuel, or paid for a mooring or slip, tell us how much it cost!

If the dock master answers a certain VHF frequency, or there's a way to get ahold of him off-hours, tell us!

You get the idea. There are dozens of helpful fields you can fill in.

It never fails to amaze me how often things are mentioned in the review, but not updated in the details.

Thanks for listening.

I agree with that... I always try to update as much as possible.

Just gotta tell you I think AC is awesome. I'll add fields as I come across them. Thanks again!

The thing on AC I use most is the anchorage information, it has saved a lot of time researching charts and money for transient slips. I do add my $.02 worth to the reviews.

While I generally agree, if I'm busy, I might only enter a few key items.
- Rating and a quick comment
- Nightly slip rate.

The rest is mostly nice to have but doesn't impact if I'm going to go there or not.
