Re: Owning and keeping 2 boats at different location

During winter in Florida for the past 2 years I have been kept busy restoring my Austin-Healey and have not tended to the Catalina 28. Next winter I hope to be driving the Healey longer distances more often, tending the Catalina and sailing more. Retirement is a very busy occupation.

Yes that count, fishing and cruising is different and make sense to have different boats for the purpose.

Re: Owning and keeping 2 boats at different location

Well, there are days that are good for sailing....and other days that are good for fishing..
A sailboat does not make for a good fishing boat, neither does a fishing boat make for a good sailboat, hence the two boats, as I enjoy both pastimes.

The sailboat lives in the water, the fishing boat on land.

It's becoming a tad too expensive lately to keep and maintain two boats, so the inevitable is about to happen...
