Plymouth pick up point

Good morning hive mind. My wife is taking the train to Plymouth to join me for our next cruise. Could any locals advise me where the best central pick up point would be for me to collect her in the dinghy? I would probably anchor in Barn Pool, so the nearest to there would help, unless you have any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Considering you'll be anchoring in Barn Pool, I'd recommend the Mayflower Marina or the Plymouth Yacht Haven as a central pick-up point. Both are relatively close to Barn Pool and have easy access to the waterfront. Alternatively, you could also consider the Barbican Landing Stage, which is a bit more scenic and about a 20-minute walk from the train station. If you're looking for a more convenient option, Safe Harbor Plymouth is a great choice, with amenities like a fuel dock, marine services, and a waterside restaurant. It's also close to the town center, so your wife can easily walk to the pick-up point.

We have always found Mayflower very friendly and helpful, just spend the night there and then your visitors can walk on board.
