Re: Raymarine E120,no autopilot

what auto pilot do you have? if it is a modular and not an intergrated tiller pilot check the cabling between the fluxgate compass or gyro to unsure the conection is good .if all is well look at the nmea setting on the e70? to ensure setting are correct. ensure the sea talk connection to the pilot core pack is correct, spray with a contact cleaner to ensure a clean connection on all revelent cabling.

Re: Raymarine E120,no autopilot

Everything is Raymarine, have checked all connections,ok,all fuses ok.When ST70 turned on it comes up with, standby with 3 dashes across the screen. When I try and go to auto, the alarm goes off on the ST70 with no compass displayed. The X10 smart pilot is showing that everything is in order. How do I know what the nmea setting should be On the ST70?

Re: Raymarine E120,no autopilot

If the pilot is not getting compass. Then it’s a pilot / compass issue. Their will be a compass directly wired to the pilot ecu. Nothing to do with plotter, nmea, or seatalk.
