Recife Brazil area haulouts?

I have a friend enroute on a passage from Capetown to NE Brazil in a Stevens 47 cutter. He is needing a haulout for some issues and ideally would like to leave the boat for a few months before moving further north.

I am having a tough time getting returned calls or emails from all enquiries I'm trying make on his behalf and I am not finding much online. Is there anyone in the Brazil region that may be able to help steer me in a good direction?

Does it have to be near Recife? I would suggest going up river to Jacaré Marina, in Cabedelo, near Joao Pessoa, Paraiba, north of Recife. Good reputation, check Noonsite for reviews and contacts.

We have been in touch with a couple moored in Cabedelo who also said Cabedelo was a much better spot but apparently the yard there told them that the size of the boat was too big for them to haul out. I will try to reach out to verify that the yard you mention was the one that they talked to. Do you happen to know how the channel depths are there?

UPDATE: We found that there is really nothing in Recife so we the plan is now the marina you recommend in Cabedelo and arrangements are in progress. Thanks for your info. A lot of people seem to agree with you.
