Repair on 2002 Cruiser 3750MY/ Engine: Crusader 8.1 H.O.

We have a 2002 Cruiser 3750MY/ Engine: Crusader 8.1 H.O. The boat is not starting. We had a mechanic diagnose the issue. He is charging $958 for the below mentioned items. Once the boat is started there maybe other mechanical issues that need to be dealt with. He is charging $110/hr.

As we are not familiar with the mechanics of the yacht, I was hoping someone could confirm whether the estimate seems reasonable.

Boat has not been run in several years and now will not start. Diagnose, inspect

and recommend initial repairs to get boat up and running.

Labor Shore power cord was not connected. Connect power cord and test all A/C

powered systems. Test shore power dock circuit breaker for proper operation and

protection. Leave boat plugged in to shore power and charger on to re-charge

batteries.

Labor Batteries are dead and either off or disconnected.

Reconnect batteries, charge, service and test.

4 0.50 Labor Test all D/C systems.

Labor Check and top off all fluids, run both engines, check over, scan ECM for codes

and make recommendations.

Notes

Found aft cabin hatch and cabin entry door both open and rain getting in, closed

both.Isinglass glass panels are broken out or badly fogged and rain water is getting in

to upper helm and aft deck area. All isinglass glass panels need replacement

along with other misc. canvas repairs.

Looks good to me. I don't see anything not above board.
But I do think you need to address those items he mentioned ASAP or it will cost even more
