Tartan 27 - destroyed centerboard pin

Hi,
I went to unscrew the caps over the pin of my retracting centerboard - tartan 27. when unscrewing the seized cap, I ripped it completely off! The boat gets launched in two weeks, so I need to figure out how to patch this.

Photos attached

Question 1: is this a potential boat sinker? Did I just create a new thru hulk, and open a hole into the lake?

Question 2: how to repair? Should I trim it, sand it, clean it up, and fiberglass a new threaded pipe to go in its place? (Cap is still seized on the broken one, so I’d probably find a new match)

Question 3: how do I attach the threaded portion well? Fiberglass only? Should I consider JB Weld, or some other product? I’m not sure how to effectively apply anything on the inside surface.

Question 4: if I do glass it, how many layers of woven mat is recommended?

Thanks!
Dug
