Re: Ugly 2018 Catamaran: $144,900

You should check out "Onboard lifestyle SV Basik", they have a Youtube channel that shows the step by step modification they have made to a very similar Cat to make it more homey. Teal does a great job of walking the viewer through each step of the process.

In this particular episode he is starting on a hardtop and you can see how similar the cockpit looks to the Ugly Cat.

Be sure to subtract the anticipated cost for broken bones from that railing used for the aft of the cockpit. It is clearly an off-the-shelf unit for an outside corner of a boat. Not sure what will be worse, when people trip over it coming aboard or going to the stern...

Just remember some think all catamarans are ugly.🤫

On a serious note, find a good surveyor. spend the money.on that before anything else.

Seriously? You are worried about a TV?

Id be more inclined to look at the rigging.

Looking at a Lagoon 40

The boom is 15ft above the waterline.
Now that's not only ugly but downright dangerous.
Unless you use it as a party boat on a lake.
So in comparison this custom build cat, with some mods is not too bad.
On the other hand you can buy a 42' or 45' mono with plenty of gear.
