Very important, as I found out while living in the tropics.

Re: Westward: What Do I Need To Bring?

We are staying long enough in French Polynesia that we bought a local fitting and joined it via a hose to a N American fitting to do a gravity fill. HOWEVER, you can fill in both the Marquesas (Nuku Hiva) and Tahiti without having a fitting so unless you are staying longer than two fill-ups you wouldn't need one for here.

Guam is a wonderful place. Good food, good people, good prices, great diving.
