What boats have you owned?

[El Pinguino]

1957/63 Catboat built to plans from 'Popular Mechanics' magazine. Built by my father and the C/E aft of the centrecastle on a T2 tanker while on an extended voyage from San Francisco to Melbourne Australia. (see pic).

1969/mid 70s Heron dinghy built by Storey and Keers , Sydney, as a 'favour' for the C/O of 'Empress of Australia' a few years earlier. Seen SW of Hay NSW in a rather wet year.


1984/94 a Vertue - extended cruising version - without the doghouse -

1994/present Westerly Sealord.
