4G hotspot booster advice

Hello,
I have a Verizon 4g jetpack on my 35' Cruisers. Speeds are not very good with it at the marina I'm at. 2-3 mbps is about all I get.
I've heard there are boosters I can get to make the speed better. If possible, I'd like to find one for $500 or less that will do a nice job.
Any suggestions?

their are range boosters. to increase cell coveridge and range. if you already have good cell coveridge at the dock, they won't help.

do you have 4g in your area? you should be able to log into the modem and see the signal DB and connection speed. 3g, LTE, etc.

I use this one. you'll need an antenna as well
