ACR AIS Reciever to Garmin 3206

I just finished installing an ACR Nauticast AIS dual channel receiver in our boat! It is connected to a Garmin 3206 chartplotter (NMEA0183). After setting-up the chartplotter (port & NMEA speed) it displays ships, will show the name of the ship, but doesn't show any of the additional information I've seen with other AIS systems (vessel type, speed, course, etc...). One other oddity - my Garmin manual shows an AIS sub-tab (under system page), however an AIS sub-tab doesn't show-up on my chartplotter. Any ideas out there?

I haven't looked at my 3206 recently so memory is a bit fuzzy. On mine with the West Marine AIS Transponder. there are two pages of data on the ship. You have to go to this second page to get most of the data on the ships. Trying to remember how i switched pages. Get almost no ship traffic where the boat is now but will look at the next time I'm at the boat to see if I can figure it out.
