Air Cable

i came across this product and wondered if anyone on the forum has used it.

it seems like a great way to link, say, an ais with a laptop or maybe even a sat phone and laptop, without having to run cables all over the place

if you've any experience with this could you let me know how easy it was to set up and how well it functioned once set up?
