AIS VESSEL MONITORING

Or try this:
YACHTMARINE - Live AIS World Ship Monitoring

For a small software investment you can join the shipplotter group with itīs central server in the UK and access vessel traffic all over the world. (shipplotter.com)

You can also set up your own inexpensive AIS monitoring station in the area you live and share it with SP over the internet.

Well, that was fun but it seems to be only good for selected areas. I guess one has to pay to see the whole world.

Yours aye!

AIS VESSEL SURVEILANCE

Hi.. Glad you liked our present listing.

No, there is nothing to pay, it is all run and shared by enthusiastic volontairs from a central server in the UK.

All shipplotter members can see all vessel movements in
each others areas by sharing over the internet. In this case
many more areas are available.

Our listing is based on self-creative maps from Google into
which we feed actual AIS data received from our local AIS receivers.

I was watching the big marinas in Cannes and Monaco today and although winter and little movements, many of the large yachts have their AIS transponders working.

AIS surveillance

Hi..

If you are really interested in ship monitoring in the US, Canada and the rest of the world you could download and purchase the shipplotter software from shipplotter.com in the UK. You can download it from their website and if interested pay by VISA on-line.

Otherwise, look out for coming websites covering areas of interest. Here is one of Seattle but I donīt like the present satellite presentation but I am told it will be improved using standard Google Maps. You can pan and zoom the map to the area you want.
