That depends. My tiny boat has 70' from VHF to masthead, the typical RG58 has about 4dB on that length which means you end up with 60% loss. Even with great foam dielectrics you loose 1dB on that short run, which is 20% or 5W in case of 25W transmission.

Watts worse is you pay for the line losses in both directions.
