AIS XB8000 NOT Receiving
We have a Vesper Marine XB8000. It is approximately 5 yrs old. We display the information via wifi on a Mac running OpenCPN and an iPad running Navionics.

We have an intermittent problem that is getting worse. We transmit but do not receive. I use the VMais program to check our status and our Rx is mostly always 0. The unit has its own power supply but shares the aerial with our GME VHF radio. We have removed the splitter to attach the XB8000 directly to the aerial, with no success.

I have been unable to find any information anywhere about a system that does not receive. Any advice greatly appreciated.
