Charlie-I just replaced my Alpha after several years of fairly reliable operation. It has two positive attributes: it's strong and it doesn't use a lot of power. The drive arm finally crapped out and I decided to switch to a Raymarine. I still have the other components-including the compass-if you are interested.

Sorry Cptn should have explained better. On the upper right hand side of the opening screen under neath the picture of the palm trees and boats there are the words PHOTO GALLEREY the below that MEMBERS/PROFILE below that there is a small light blue box that will say Welcome, Cptn Happy. in the box are the words Private Message:Unread #, Total #. click on private message and then you will see the PM that I sent you and you should be able to reply to me. If you need help reply to this thread and I'll help you out. I'm searching other websites now so don't be upset if I don't reply righ away.
