Been using the single band dipole solutions here with an old Kenwood TS50 as I really didn't want to cut the backstay...the alternate backstay wire is an option to consider..... Will take a look see...may be tight due to backstay, topping lift, and boom placement...tnx for the idea though..... Been also considering a 43' wire straight down the mast and fed at the base....grounded to the collar.
