Any tridata sensors but without paddlewheel?

Looking for a depth/temp/speed sensor, but not a paddlewheel. I am sick of my paddlewheel working for the first week of the season and then fouling with growth. Don't want to hear about how easy it is to pull and clean, or to leave out and only go sailing. Maybe for you, not for me.

I would think someone has a sonic or flow sensor or something that has no moving parts to measure STW, and has integrated depth into it. Don't care if it has temp truthfully. Depth and STW, no moving parts.

Thanks.

Re: Any tridata sensors but without paddlewheel?

I had an Airmar DX900+ electromagnetic sensor for a year or two, until the depth sensor died. Airmar says they've been working on a redesign for several years now. I bought the ultrasonic UDST800 this year. It's never worked right. The speed drops out occasionally. The depth frequently drops out in less than 15 foot depth, when you need it.

I put the old paddlewheel back in. I hate them too, but it's reliable.
