Aquatronic wind display units

Just bought an old yacht with these onboard .
Could anyone please help me with these Aquatronic wind display instruments
(see photos attached for ID )

I’ve search the net , but no luck tracing anything close .

Id like to try see if I can still use them .
Question is what mast head transducer can I use to be compatible with these display units. ?

If possible at all .
Thanks

Re: Aquatronic wind display units

I'm an old US based Marine Electronics Technician. In my 40 years of experience I do believe I have seen every single brand of marine electronics that has ever been on a boat in the US.

However, I've never seen one of these. They are pretty.

To answer your question any analog masthead sensor would likely work with these. The question is how do you hook it up??

Take them to an electronics shop and ask them to figure it out for you. If you were in the US I would do it for you.

I thank you Sir.
It gives me confirmation that I was not going crazy not being able to get these units identified.
Secondly, my hope is renewed to follow your advice .

I do have a fond attachment to them and if I have no luck this side I’ll sure be tempted to ship them to you if at all possible ?

Kind

Re: Aquatronic wind display units

I have the same equipment on mij 40 year old boat. It's a Dufour 35 feet.
The instruments consist of speed, depth en 3 displays for wind.

They are still working after 40 years but unfortunately the wind cups of my masttop uit broke off last winter. So I am looking for a new windcup set.

When I bought this boat 30 years ago I thought that this equipment was not very special. But after some investigation I found that this equipment was very good. Dufour used it on all his yachts build class A1 in the early days of Dufour. Class A1 is the highest French qualification.

Fantastic Cor

Thank so very much . How lovely to hear this good news.
I am even more proud to own them, espically hearing of their quality.

May I ask
What mast head transducer do you currently have ?

Kind Regards

Hello mr. Janse. I bought a dutch Nordia 41 in 2007 with similar instruments and the wind vane/indicator in the masttop lost its wings, so now I am not sure how they were placed, because i intend to glue new ones on. I have unsuccesfully tried to find pictures on the web, so if would have a picture or a link to one I would be gratefull
Kind regard
