Attaching raynet connector

Recently bought used raymarine radome RD418D. It came with a digital cable but without the raynet connector, it was cutoff. Can I buy just the connector and reattach? I know raymarine doesn't recommend this.
Attached pictures of raynet connector wires which have 4 plus flimsy one, is that sheathing? What's that for?
Other picture is power, I believe.
On boat is a raymarine A68 mfd and the radome also came with a C90 mfd, I understand could hook up both. Also have ST 60 instruments for wind and depth.
Don't know if I'll connect them too.
Just starting to study this stuff and it's a little confusing, any input would be helpful.

Re: Attaching raynet connector

this is the bottom side?

you can connect an rj45 and then buy a rj45 to raynet adapater

you'd need to find the rj45 pinout though. I have cut them off and reinstalled but I've always had the old one in my hand to check the pin out. I don't know if off hand.

if this is the radar end you'd probably have to buy a new cable.

Re: Attaching raynet connector

Thanks smac999, it's not the radar end, that's still attached and screws into radome easily.
Attached is a picture of an rj45 pinout, is this the order?
The digital cable wiring is green, orange, greenwhite, and finally whiteorange(see photo from original post).

Re: Attaching raynet connector

Was the pin out on the Radar to RayNet cable confirmed per the file attached in the previous post, which was:
RayNet Pin 1 as Gn/W
RayNet Pin 2 as Gn
RayNet Pin 5 = O/W
RayNet Pin 6 = O

Reason for asking is that I have found a document (dated 10/2012 by Lorom Ind) that has the O and O/W on opposite pins, as well as the Gn and Gn/W on opposite pins. In other words, that document defines the following:
RayNet Pin 1 as Gn
RayNet Pin 2 as Gn/W
RayNet Pin 5 = O
RayNet Pin 6 = O/W

It's probably 6 or half a dozen, but I'd rather know for sure. If anyone has toned out the RayNet 10 wire Connector using a cut cable with exposed wires, please put this to rest.

Thank you in advance.
