Hello all,
Does anyone have any experience with the flashing error code
" Power Mot Swap"
Here's the story. I installed this system on my1976 33 Morgan OI with a reversible hydraulic pump and it worked great. Put the boat up 2 years ago. Right before I put the boat up, had some electrical problems.
Boats on the hard and going in the water tomorrow Tues 4/4/23.
Sailing down river/ North to Jacksonville Fl. Weds. 3/5/23.
Ok, Got the whole system working in the yard after completely disconnecting the electronics and wiring it to a separate 12 V battery.
2 wires come from the pump to the brain and are connected to a bus or strip that has 2 more connections for the power input from the battery.
I know they are in the proper spaces.
The "Power Mot Swap" error code comes up when I go from STANDBY to AUTO.
Then it reverts back to STANBY.
This error code says that the 2 connections from the battery and the 2 connections from the motor are swapped, Not true.
I've tried recalibrating, Dealer mode and all, inputting all my particulars and it still reverts back to standby after several seconds in AUTO. In test mode at the dock it is supposed to go through a test scenario,
Disconnected the pump and put some power to it and it works fine and pushes rudder around.
Big question--- what if I just SWAP them. The 2 leads from the motor to the 2 leads from the battery?
Thanks,
Dabrewman

I’ve got the same ap. But wheel pilot drive. on my moody. Wired up fine polarity check and followed. Would test fine. And then when in use would do a “crazy Ivan”. Swapped wires and recalibrated. Has worked fine since...

Worth a shot to swap and recalibrate.
