Autopilot AP70

We recently had our gyro mainboard go out so I now have a Hemisphere VS330 providing a heading to all of my devices (just swapped with gyro cable). I am seeing a heading on the AP70 but I get an error when using the VS330, "steering compass missing". The auto pilot will not work with this error. Is there a setting within the unit that I need to modify for it to work with the VS330? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All of my other devices are working with the VS330.

Re: Autopilot AP70

Have you checked the data sources in the AP70 to be sure it's set correctly? I'm assuming this is NMEA 0183? And what about baud rates? For fast heading, ROT, position, etc you probably need 38k baud, not the default 4.8k
