Avtopilot Simrad Ap 24 ten degrees button not working

I have bought AC12 and AP24 second hand on ebay. I did essential settings in commissioning.

One degree steering button works fine.

What is the way to make also 10 degrees to work?

In the AUTO mode, pressing the right or left arrow keys will adjust the course by one degree. Press and hold the right or left arrow key for a few seconds until the AUTO display changes to TURN. With that, each press of the arrow keys will change course by 10º. Once on the new (desired) heading, simply leave the unit alone for 15 seconds and it will revert to AUTO mode. Alternately, simply pressing and holding the right or left arrow keys for a few seconds will cause a 10º course change assuming you have properly set the parameters for your unit.

FWIW...

I was not clear before. I have 4 butons.
And if I remember right there was no difference betwen auto or non auto mode. When 1> was presed ruder turned for 1 degree and when 10> was presed tuder turned for 10 tegrees.

Re: Avtopilot Simrad Ap 24 ten degrees button not working

I have logged tens of thousands of miles using our Simrad AP24 and the 10° buttons have always worked as they should in all modes (auto, wind and no-drift). I don’t believe there’s a programming toggle that enables or disables that feature. If it were mine, I would try a reset to default values and recommission.

Good luck, fair winds and calm seas.
