Yes, we've got the B&G AIS 500.
I think for the AIS I need the interface and the Windows software?

I'll have to get B&G over to do that then.

Navico VHF MMSI Factory reset:

1) Turn radio off

2) Simultaneously press X (or Exit) and Scan buttons and hold

3) Turn radio on, release keys

4) Enter code 7100

Follow instructions for desired change.

Should work with:
Lowrance LVR 880/Link8
Simrad RS35
B&G V50

Re: B&G V50 VHF - change MMSI?

Great info. I saved a cut/paste to my Google docs. Hopefully I'll be able to find this thread or that doc someday of I ever need it.

Still having good luck with our V50. The wife has been helping run a local Cruiser's net from time to time and so far have been getting excellent feedback on transmission quality.

Re: B&G V50 VHF - change MMSI?

I have tried this a couple of times now but I can´t get it to work. When I enter the code 7100 the only thing that happens is that it shows up an instruction to enter a PIN code again. So is there anyone who knows if they have changed the code?

1) Turn radio off

2) Simultaneously press X (or Exit) and Scan buttons and hold

3) Turn radio on, release keys

4) Enter code 7100

Follow instructions for desired change.
