It's back up - or at least the page with my installation came right up, along with the others:

And, just in case it was a matter of prior searches' caching, I navigated the entire site, most of which I've not seen before, as I've been a client for over 10 years...

The URL I see being posted is incorrect (missing an "e" to spell "time")

The IslandTime PC website could really use an update.

Re: Best long range WiFi/Cellular Antenna

I've had wifi amplifiers for over 10 years. It used to be really important but no longer. In my cruising area of the East Coast of the US and Bahamas, it's cheaper and much better service to pay $50 a month to Verizon for LTE. Usable wifi is hardly ever free anymore. 99% are password protected. Most marina wifi is speed throttled to the point of being useless.

On the other hand, astonishingly fast and cheap Verizon LTE is just about everywhere up and down the ICW (a few holes still). In the Bahamas, I get a Batelco pre-paid sim for $5 and buy prepaid "top ups". While there's still more 3G than LTE there, the 3G is often good enough to stream video. 5GB of Batelco data is $50. About the same price as the US.

I simply use the built-in free hotspot on my iphone for laptops and ipads. For better reception, I put the phone under the dodger. If that's still not great, I put it in a plastic bag and raise it 10ft up with a flag halyard. For the remaining rare situations, I have a Wilson amplifier that does both 3G and 4G with a separate directional antenna on 20ft of coax. I use it so rarely that it's not permanently mounted. I just hang the antenna on the rail pointing towards a cell tower. I use the same iphone as the hotspot
