BG network Wind

The display on our BG Network is suddenly frozen

When power is turned on it will show "APP V TRUE 18,8", but does not respond when pressing any of the 4 buttons.

Any idea what is wrong !

Hi,

I have the exact same problem with this equipment. The slight difference is that my wind direction arrow points at 9 o clock instead of 10.

Have you had any success in resolving this?

I solved the problem

I unmounted the display and sent it to Tinley Electrincs in England (Tinley Marine Electronics Service).

The culprit was that the pointer was jammed against the dialface. Nothing you can repair yourself.

Myleselectronics Myles Marine Electronics, Inc. - An Authorized Service Dealer for Brookes & Gatehouse and Stowe) will be able to do the repair in the US if that is more convent for you.

I paid GBP 195 (all in ) for the repair. Not cheap but definitely cheaper than getting a new
