First off, please verify WHERE you are actually at...
Dominican Republic, I assume???

And, let me know if you are at anchor away from shore by at least 1/4 - 1/2 mile....or are you closer??
Or are you at a dock, marina, yacht club, boat yard, private dock, near houses/apts/businesses/industry/etc.
(give as much detail as you can!!!)


Secondly, please understand that truly immense amount of "radio noise" (RFI) that is generated these days by all sorts of crap, some on-board many boats and some on-land....(I'll go into MUCH more detail later, but just a few things are battery chargers, solar charge controllers, inverters, wall-wart chargers, digital clocks, fans, pumps, refrigerators, etc. etc...)




If you confirm exactly WHERE you are located and explain where/how you are anchored/docked, etc. I can give you many helpful details, but until then I'm waiting...
BTW, video #9 shows some RFI...but it's not a definitive video, as I don't really have RFI issues on-board to show..
