Catalina 42 factory wiring for cockpit speakers?

Hello all, I've heard a few times that Catalina pre-wires their boats for cockpit speakers. Anyone know if this is true, and if so, when they started doing this? 2001 Catalina 42 MKII

My '02 320 was prewired at the factory, wires were feed thru stanchions and exited under the stern perch seats. Original owner hadn't installed sound system so they were just in a bundle.
