CCTV Started Today - What Are Your Thoughts

Hi all,

Here are some pics of the CCTV install I started on my boat today.

What I have installed-
Cameras
-2 x 700tvl external cams with 60 meter IR 2.8mm-12mm lens (on mast)

-1x 700tvl eyeball cam with 30meter IR and wide dynamic range 2.8mm-12mm lens (galley/back deck)

DVR (recorder)
8 Chanel, 1TB HDD with D1 recording on all channels and networked on 4G network through dynamic naming service on Netgear modem router back to iPhone app and PC for live view and play back via internet.

More cams to be installed soon in engine room etc.

Also Running a Bosch solution 16i alarm system with SMS reporting via Sec-Eng VTI dialler to alert of intrusion, high bilge water level, and smoke.

That's for looking!

Seawatch: Proper name for that kind set up for sure.
Got the same system for my house, a bit unclear why anybody need it on a boat?
Theft problems in your marina?

I'll let you know atoll if I can get close..

Reasons for the cameras is that I'm not in marina just moored in a river with 2 shore lines and 2 plough anchors securing her so I want to be able to check on her position in case anything lets go. And obviously there is a good risk of theft just being in a river
