connecting Furuno GP 32 GPS to a Std. Horz. GX2150

Hello I need some help here. I don't understand what is required here. Seem to have different color wires Can someone clear the fog please. Thank you Len

Len- you're going to have to look at the manuals. I assume you want to get GPS data into the radio. A "standard" called NMEA 183 will be used to send the position data. On the GPS there should be a NMEA OUT wire which is going to be connected to the NMEA IN wire on the radio. Then there will be a NMEA "gound" on both units. Connect them together. I use a terminal strip to make my connections. The two manuals should give you all the info you need. They can be downloaded on the internet if needed. Hopes this helps- Tim
