Darn Gwind interface to N2000

My new (to me) boat has a gWind wireless sensor interfaced to N2k via a WS1 (nexus server) wired to a GND10 bridge.

It comes and goes - Repowering the bus gets it's attention but then it will slowly die. the WS1 uses a very thin wire for power and data then that feeds to a GND10 (bridge that looks to draw it's power from N2k cables.

When I track down the loss it tends to say the GND10 is not found.

This leads me to think the flakines is in the GND10 or the N2K cables, any thoughts on next steps?

Try adding a 120Ohm resistor to the nexus bus between your receiver and the GND10. That fixed all the instability we had with our gnd10 and nexus (wired) masthead sensor. The issue is that the gnd10 does not have an internal termination resistor on the nexus interface.
