Find Navico plotter on LAN?

Cheers!

What would be the best way to locate a Navico OS chartplotter on the LAN?

The only hint I've found so far seems to be my Zeus 3S advertising a "_navico-siriusxmdl._tcp.local." using mDNS.

Re: Find Navico plotter on LAN?

I'd go into the plotter settings and find out its IP or MAC address.

Unless you're asking about a more general case of locating an unknown/inaccessible one that you have reason to suspect is present?

Yes, exactly, the more general case is what I'm interested in. I'm making an AIS related app and want to discover MFD:s (or other sources of NMEA data) on the LAN!
