Furuno 1833c Charts

I have just purchased a boat with the Furuno 1833c with Navnet chartplotter and radar. The previous owner took all the charts with him, so I'm looking at charts to buy.

This system is from 2005, and (apparently) takes only Furuno and Navionics Classic NC cards. Each card is $250/$300 and covers a very small area. Am I missing something?

By contrast, the C-Map Max Mega Wide Cartridge covers all of the east coast, gulf and Caribean from planning scale to harbor charts for only $300 total.

What do I not understand here?

Carly, it's too bad yours isn't for cmap. We are finishing a circumnavigation and have 14 chips for Furuno navnet 1. Yes, they do add up. Good luck in your search.

I've found that conversion of the chartplotter to C-map chips can be done via software. I'll look into that. What do you have that you're selling?
