Furuno Antenna Cable

Hi, Installing a Furuno 1715 found that the antenna cable was 1 meter too short. Already been in the mast for one year, reluctant to take it out and buy a longer one. Does anyone know where I can get a piece of cable in OZ and can it be joined with a junction box without any technical difficulties?
