Furuno LS 6100 failed replacement suggestions.

I have a Furuno LS6100 I hardly use it its well protected out of the weather totally. yet is Failed which is a real expensive surprise. I thought Furuno make quality equipment?

Question.

Can I replace this model with a FCV-628 FURUNO sonar and use the same transducer from the LS6100? if not what new Furuno model would be suitable?

Comment if need to change the transducer, I will no longer buy this brand, this being the case what reliable brand is there? to replace my failed fish finder? I use the fish finder not for fishing but understand what the ground is like for anchoring. Thanks everyone for reading my requests,

Many Thanks, SV Skoien IV
