Furuno LS-6100 replacement question

My Furuno LS 6100 fish finder stopped working. it is in newish condition had very little use inside warm Cabin.
I would like to know what newer model of fish finder I can buy to use the same cable connectors and transducer. As it is a real pain to run new cables and install another transducer in a 15 meter sail boat. Which I would like to avoid if possible, as it means slipping the boat and everything it entails to change it.

PS I don't use it for fishing but to check the bottom before dropping my anchor.

Thanks, Kryg

I went from very similar LS4100 (5" screen version of the LS6100) to a Furuno FCV628. They are pin for pin compatible plug and play, power and transducer. The FCV628 is the 5.7in model of the FCV588 (8 in) model. Both are 600W color screens. Both have the capability of bottom discrimination if you have the correct transducer. When I put my FCV628 on, I set up up with the generic 600W transducer in the settings. Works fine.
