Garmin Bluechart for Ipad maps still available?

I have the Garmin Bluechart app on my Ipad, and I purchased the North America map a year or so ago. Today I tried to buy the European map but I can't seem to find them anywhere on the Apple app store, nor anywhere on the Garmin site. Are the maps still available somewhere? Has Garmin pulled the plug on this Ipad app now that they're in the process of buying Navionics? Btw, I use both apps but I like Garmin's trip/passage planning function. TIA

I have been discussing this issue with Garmin. As far as I can tell BlueChart mobile maps are no longer available. What is worse in my opinion is that the APP is no longer supported and has been replaced by the ActiveCaptain APP. And no, the maps are not transferable. For those of us who just bought the US BlueChart map for $50.00, I think we got screwed because the APP is not supported and the maps may or may not be up to date.

The worse thing is that you can get the app from the app store if you want to reboot your iPad but you can't seem to be able to download the charts that you have paid for. I got a new iPad and have not been able to get access to the charts for several days.

I have the same discussion with garmin. We bought the mediterrean map oct 2017 for 105 euro. I broke the ipad and got a new one end december, and I can only restore the bluechart app, but not the maps.

Garmin told me that I should buy the new one (399 euro!!!!) and download the activecaptain app. Feeling really dissapointed in Garmin...

Yes, apparently we have been screwed by Garmin. I hope my old Ipad holds out. Will never deal with Garmin again.

I believe garmin’s buisness model is to sell something for a few years and then stop supporting it, then bring a new model to market and repeat.

Kinda strange from what I've been reading here, but my old iPad2 with Bluechart N. America charts already installed & AC downloaded is still working fine. I also just had to replace my iPhone, from a 5 to a 7 running iOS 11.2.1. The Bluechart app was no longer available as has been pointed out, but I downloaded the free AC app from Garmin and it allowed me to install my previously purchased N. America charts which appear to be functioning just fine (w/AC overlays).

Am I missing something here?
