Garmin GSD 24

I have an Airmar P319 transducer through the Garmin GSD 24 adapter into a Garmin 8612xsv chart plotter. The depth is not reading - it is showing a blue screen with no bottom and vertical lines. This worked beautifully, while it lasted, at the 200mhz while we have been in the Bahamas. It has worked intermittently for about 3 months. Any suggestions on how to get this up and running !!

Usually the problem is in the contacts!
Does Garmin identify a GSВ device?
What bulbs shine on GSВ?

Re: Garmin GSD 24

Thanks for the reply... I have checked and cleaned all connections. There is no GSD 24 with led lights to check. The set up goes as follows:
Airmar P319 transducer to GSD ADAPTER (6 pin to 8 pin) to chart plotter.

Re: Garmin GSD 24

The chart plotter is showing we have the transducer connected. Ran diagnostics and everything looked ok.

Re: Garmin GSD 24

I see the wind sensor is still not working. what other devices are connected to the garmin chartplotter?
Perhaps this is a common problem. Is it possible to reset the chartplotter?
make a complete reset

Re: Garmin GSD 24

We just installed updates - shouldn’t that take care of any glitches ?? Depth, wind, and radar are the only devices connected. Radar seems to be working fine.

Radar wind and depth connected to a common bus? What is the device connection diagram?
