Garmin Reactor 40 without rudder sensor

Hi All,

Some advice needed. I read somewhere that the Garmin Reactor 40 could be used without the Rudder Sensor… I am hoping someone has done so as it is due to space issues next to impossible to mount the rudder sensor. I have installed the Garmin Reactor 40 but cantvfitbthe rudder sensor… Advice needed..

My understanding is that the rudder sensor is required at least when coupling of a drive unit to the reactor 40’control unit. I would speak to a professional installer for out of the box ideas.
