Getting charts from GPS 440 to HomePort
Does anyone know how to copy charts off of a Garmin GPSmap 440 and into HomePort? There doesn't seem to be an option in the plotter to copy charts which is what is suggested when you read the directions.

It seems ridiculous that in a time when we have the simplicity and elegance of Open CPN we have to deal with the plodding of companies like Raymarine and Garmin. Why would I pay money for an inferior product when I can get it better and for free?
