Re: GPS For Multiple Devices Via Bluetooth

I would try Garmin one. Check online how many devices can pair it.

Works great. Less expensive than Brookhouse. I'm upgraded from Brookhouse USB.
This does look interesting. Thanks for posting this.
I need to figure out how to hook a GPS puck to it and how to hook internet to it but then it could replace my existing wifi router for not much more than a new GPS unit. I will need to dig into this some more but it miht jyst be inexpensive enough to buy it and play with it!

We've been happy with our Bad Elf Pro +. Bluetooth to 2 seperate ipads and could support 3 more devices. Accuracy has been good as has battery life (rechargeable). About $250 online. Bad Elf also makes the Pro (not the +) but I do not know what the differences are but the basic Pro is only @ $150.

Just a follow up .... this seemed like the right thing to try out but an inquiry to him on the 14th has not resulted in a reply so far. Since I feel that it is likely that I will have questions once I purchased the device, I have decided that vyacht product(s) are not suitable for me.
I am leaning towards trying to build something based on a Raspberry pi now.
