Great Marine Map Website

I just found this site:

Navionics Webapp

It enables you to view Navionics marine maps worldwide for free. You need an internet connection, but the maps seem identical to conventional Navionics offerings with nothing to pay. You do not need to download anything at least on my tablet. Just click the webpage and you can instantly scroll anywhere and view Navionics marine maps with full detail.

I hope there are no copywrite violations. It seems to be a service offered directly by Navionics.

Great for background research of new areas.

As an example, this is a typical sceenshot.

Beauty. It's good for planning. The stuff around Savannah GA USA is outdated by more than 10 years, so I wouldn't try to navigate with it.

Re: Great Marine Map Website

This map is great! I usually daydream and rough route-plan with the web app and then step over to the iPad app or plotter once I have a better idea of where I want to go. Sometimes it's just easier to be able to click around on the computer screen than the plotter screen! It's also nice to compare the coverage with the different chart options Navionics offers.
