Halo Radar Guard Zone

Hello folks, I've just installed a new Navico Halo Radar, using it through Opencpn on my Laptop... Plug & play, could not have been easier. Right, thing is I really want that Guard Zone working as I'm single handed. I've selected an 8 mile zone, selected an alarm sound, tested the sound and it plays OK 'Alarm On' checkbox is ticked... But even though massive 270m long Tankers enter the zone, no alarm! I've also the 'Watchkeeper' alarm activated (Opencpn) that works fine, any ideas please? Thanks.

Might be worth asking on the Open CPN forum in case its not the radar but something else.
