Hunter 410 Binnacle - Damaged Wiring to Electronics

Has anyone ever had to get access or remove the binnacle on the Hunter 410? The muppets who originally wired up all the Raymarine ST 60 instruments, Radar and GPS routed it all in such a way that when the steering arm rotated back in a gybe or accidental rudder hard to on a down wind course, it actually damaged all the wiring and after spending thousands on replacement instruments i found the source by pure accident. So i need to get access to the bottom of the binnacle housing from the topside to investigate and carry out what ever remedial works to circumvent the problem. I saw that someone had installed an access hatch to the front section of the Binnacle to enable access. But what i want to know is how to remove the entire Binnacle so I can have clear access to effect the repairs......Help>>:cheers!

I have no idea and don;t really know why you would want/need to remove it to redo wiring. Maybe ask on the Hunter Owners site.
