Icom M710

I am installing a second hand Icom M710 and the control cable to the AT 130E tuner has been cut above the connector leaving only red/black/white and green inner core. I can only find labels in the manual for ANTC, 13.6, Star and Key.
The diagram of the AT 130E gives an indication of the position of the wires but I have to identify the corresponding colours. Can anybody help?

The AT-130E service manual is in the Yahoo Icom M710 group files. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/.../files/AT-130/ It shows the wire positions in both connectors of the control cable. You might join the group for additional help.

If you can't access that User Group for the manual, you can get it here...

I would take out the old butchered cable and replace it with a new DIY cable (page 4-1).

Re: Icom M710

Thanks for your replies.
Unfortunately the manuals do not help as the control cable should come with a fixed plug. The manuals for the m710 and AT130E only refer to the connections ( antc, 3.6, star, key), not the wire colour.
The control cable signals (terminal info) section 4 in the AT130E manual shows the wire connections with no colour.
I think the only solution is for someone to open an AT130E and give me a photo of the board connection of the control cable.

At this point I have to find a home for a red ,black ,green and white wire, that come from a soldered connection on a board on the M710 and need to connect to the AT130E.

Can anyone give me the name of a service centre who may be helpful?

Perhaps at the top right corner of page 8-3 of the Icom IC-M710 Service Manual which is also in the Yahoo Group file section?

Look at page 3 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...QueW1LH9E9RyHj
It has colors for the wires.

Re: Icom M710

I do know you have to get the wiring right as there is a fuse inside the case which blows if you get them reversed.
