Icom Question

I upgraded my Icom M502 to an Icom M504. I am still ( or want to)using the HM127B command Mic from the M502.

The Command shows, changes channels however no reception or transmission from the Command Mic. The main radio works fine.

I have searched the web and see the Command Mic for a M504 is listed as a HM157.

The cable is also listed as a difference # OC1000 (502) OC 999 (504), my question, does anybody know is the HM 127 mic will work on a M504 radio?

Would I need to replace the command Mic also?

Re: Icom Question

The HM127 is ONLY for the M502, M602 and M402.

Re: Icom Question

You may have already damaged the radio by connecting the HM-127 to it. The OPC-1000 is the cable used for both the HM-127 and HM-157. The OPC-999 is an extension cable for the OPC-1000. You could also go with the CommandMicIII which is an HM-162 but requires the OPC-1540 cable.
